In accordance with the directives of the Presidency of the University of Mosul on the necessity of adopting the continuty in developing the skills of the staff as one of the pillars of progress at the university, and within the activities of the Continuing Education Division, the General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Mosul held its training course tagged” What you do not know about the Word processor in Microsoft Office, for the period from 18 – May 22, 2025.
Under the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Assistant Professor Dr.Muhammad Jassim Muhammad, it was presented and conducted by Mrs. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri, the official of the Continuing Education Division, while the course was delivered by Dr.Ghada Abdel Kareem, in which she addressed the Microsoft Word as one of the most widely used and widespread word processing programs in the world reviewing its advanced characteristics and features that contribute to editing texts with high efficiency.
The course witnessed direct practical applications on the program, and concentrated on explaining the tools and the functions that may be unknown to many users, which contributes to developing the skills of the employees, students, and teachers in using different groups of the academic, administrative, and professional society.
