Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr.Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and presence of Assistant Professor Dr.Muhammad Jassim Muhammad The Secretary-General of t the University of Mosul Libraries, the Central Library organized the workshop entitled (Why Do We Read Literature).The workshop was delivered by Assistant Teacher Ruwaida Faisal Mohsen/College of Political Science.The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri The official of Continuing Education Division: The workshop covered the necessity of literature in our life in its various fields and building our cultural and selective taste in what we read Through literature, we discover ages, places, and cultures, and learn about the values, traditions, and meanings that formed different societies.Literature is an aesthetic pleasure. It has the magic of language, the music of poetry, the suspense of stories, and the delight of discovery.
