Practical Training in Operating and Maintaining Integrated Library Systems
In line with the directives of the Honorable President of Mosul University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Al-Ibrahimi, to enhance the skills of the university staff, and as part of the Central Library Restoration Project implemented by UNESCO, the Central Library held a specialized training course titled “Practical Training in Operating and Maintaining Integrated Library Systems” August 10 – 12, 2025.
In the presence of the director of Mosul University Libraries, the course covered integrating the RFID system with the Koha system, operating electronic gates, using book-borrowing devices, diagnosing faults, and conducting comprehensive hands-on training.
This program represents a significant step toward rebuilding and modernizing the library’s information infrastructure.
