Central Library

Under the auspices of the President of Mosul University, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and presence of the Director of University Libraries, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library, in cooperation with the Presidency of Mosul University/ Department of Studies and Planning/ Sustainable Development Unit, organized a workshop entitled “The Role of Libraries and Information Centers in Sustainable Development.”
The workshop was presented by Ms. Rana Ghanem Ismael, Head of Benefeciaries’ Services Division, and moderated by Mrs. Saba Maad Al-Jubori, Head of the Continuing Education Division. It addressed the definition of sustainable development and its goals, highlighted projects that support sustainability, explored its dimensions, and discussed ways to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into academic library practices.
