In line with the directives of the Honorable President of the Mosul University, Professor Dr. Wahaid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, emphasizing the importance of paying attention to branch libraries in the university’s colleges and enhancing communication to ensure the quality of library services, the committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Koha Automated Cataloguing System and Techniucal Procedures in Libraries , headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Director of the University Libraries, conducted a field visit on Monday, September 15, 2025, to the library of the college Education for Girls and, The committee was received by the Dean of the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Hazem Korkis, and the Dean’s Assistants.

The visit also included the library of the College of Archeology, where the committee was received by the assistants of the Dean of the College, reviewed the workflow in the library, and met with the specialized staff. Underscoring the importance of continuous cooperation and integration between the central library and branch libraries to achieve Moaul University’s vision of providing the best scientific and knowledge services to society.
This visit is part of a series of field tours conducted by the General Secretariat of University Libraries to monitor and follow up on the progress of work in the libraries of the university’s colleges.
