In line with the directives of the presidency of the University of Mosul , emphasizing the importance of developing information services provided to researchers, faculty members, and students, the Director of the Central Library held an electronic meeting with the Regional Manager of the Elsevier Foundation, one of the international leading institutions in the scientific publishing field.
The meeting discussed the ways of enhancing cooperation between the University of Mosul and the Elsevier Foundation, particularly with respect to providing possible access to databases and peer-reviewed scientific journals published by the Foundation, in addition to discussing the possibility of organizing training courses and workshops aimed at developing the skills of the researchers in using advanced publishing and scientific research tools..

The participants in the meeting underscored the importance of enabling the researchers of the University of Mosul to access these vital resources, because of its role in raising and improving the quality of scientific research and enhancing the university’s academic position at the regional and international levels.
