Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, the Honorable Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Director of the University of Mosul Libraries , Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, and as part of the activities of the Continuing Education Division in the Central Library, the Library of Ibn Khaldun organized the workshop on Sunday 10/30/2025 entitled: (Building Intellectual Immunity: Analyzing Hate Speech and Dismantling Its Takfiri and Sectarian Mechanism) delivered by the lecturer Basma Muhammed Nazeer Ahmed, College of Political Science, it was coordinated and presented by Ms. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri, Head of the Continuing Education Division at the Library, , the workshop covered the era of globalization and the explosion of information, where the individual has become a target by a huge amount of conflicting speeches, the most dangerous of which is the hate’s speech with its sectarian mechanisms, as this speech is not just for closed spaces, but moving to include the media and social networking sites, which contributes to threatening the force of the social fabric and civil peace therefore ,the urgent need highlights to “build intellectual immunity” as a defensive and proactive necessity
