In line with the directives of the Honorabl Preident of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi,in emphasizing the importance of paying attention to the branch libraries in
the university’s colleges and enhancing communication to ensure the quality of library services, the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Koha Automated Cataloguing System and Technical Procedures in Libraries, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Director of the University Libraries, conducted a field visit on Monday, 11/17/2025, to the library of the College of Education for Humanities, Library of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Library of the Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence
During the visit, the committee reviewed the progress of workflow and met with the specialized staff, underscoring the importance of continuous cooperation and integration between libraries and colleges to achieve the vision of the University of Mosul in providing the best scientific and knowledge services to society.
This visit comes is part of a series of field tours conducted by the General Dirctorate of University Libraries to monitor and follow up on the progress of work in the libraries of the university’s colleges.
