In line with the directives of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi ,emphasizing the importance of paying attention to branch libraries in the university’s colleges and enhancing communication to ensure the quality of library services, the Committee for Monitoring on the Implementation of the Koha Automated Cataloguing System and Technical Procedures in Libraries, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Director of the University Libraries, conducted a field visit on Monday,11/24/2025, to the Library of the College of Tourism Sciences, the Library of the Remote Sensing Center, the Library of the Dry and Conservation Agriculture Research Center, and the Library of the Environmental Research Center,
During the visit, the committee reviewed the progress of workflow in the library and met with the specialized staff, underscoring the importance of continuous cooperation and integration
between libraries and colleges to achieve the vision of the University of Mosul in providing the best scientific and knowledge services to society.
This visit is part of a series of field tours conducted by the General Directorate of University Libraries to monitor and follow up on the progress of work in the libraries of the university’s colleges.
