Course “Modern Trends in Teaching English to Distinguished Secondary Schools in Nineveh Governorate”

Under the auspices of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Hazem Korkees, and in the presence and support of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Director of the University of Mosul Libraries, the Central Library hosted the activities of the specialized training course entitled: “Modern Trends in Teaching English to Distinguished Secondary Schools in Nineveh Governorate”, for the period 11/30/2025 to 12/4/2025
In cooperation with the Qualification, Recruitment and Follow-up Unit, and with the participation of a group of female teachers from distinguished schools in Nineveh, the course aims to develop the skills of teaching staff in teaching the English language according to the latest educational methods, with a focus on active learning and cooperative learning, employing technology, and developing the skills of the classroom management, which contribute to enhancing the quality of education and creating an innovative interactive classroom environment.

The Central Library considers its hosting such event is part of its mission to enhance the scientific environment and provides advanced knowledge spaces that contribute to developing and promoting the skills of teachers and students equally.
