Seminar (Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on Human Rights))

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, the Honorable Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Director of the Libraries of the University of Mosul, the Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library, in cooperation with the Presidency of the University of Mosul, Department of Studies and Planning, ,Sustainable Development Unit, held a scientific symposium entitled: ((Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on Human Rights)) on Thursday 12/11/2025, at the Ibn Khaldun Library ,Second Complex.
The symposium was delivered by M.M. Rana Essam Idrees, it was.. coordinated and presented by Ms. Saba Maad Ahmed, the symposium discussed the concept of artificial intelligence and its contemporary applications, underscoring its positive effects and the challenges which it poses to the human rights system, and the essential challenges to human rights, especially privacy, equality and legal responsibility, which requires an advanced legislative framework that ensures their protection and balances innovation with preserving human dignity.
The symposium achieved the fourth goal: (quality education), and the sixteenth goal (peace, justice, and strong institutions) of the sustainable development goals
