Central Library

As part of his visit to the University of Mosul, Dr. Haider Al-Saedi, Advisor of the Prime Minister, conducted today, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, A field tour of the Central Library, accompanied by Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, and in the presence of Dr. Mousa Al-Mousawi, Head of the Academics Affairs Committee in the Prime Minister’s Office, Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Mahdi Alwan, Director General of Private Education, and Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs. They were received by Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, the Director of Mosul University Libraries .,During the visit ,the delegation was briefed on the Central Library’s sections, its scientific and research resources, and the efforts of the development and rehabilitation which happen in the field of modernizing infrastructure and library services, that contributes to supporting students and researchers and enhancing the academic environment at the university.
Dr. Al-Saedi praised the efforts made in rebuilding and rehabilitating the Central Library and activating its scientific and knowledge role, appreciating the role of the University of Mosul in advancing the educational and research process, and at the same time underscoring the government’s support for the directives of the university and its scientific institutions in a way that serves society and the members of the staff alike.
