Central Library

The Director of the Central Library, Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, held a meeting with the staff concerned with working on the Unified Catalog System (KOHA) and the digital repository, during which they discussed the current reality of work and mechanisms for developing it in line with the requirements of the digital transformation at the University of Mosul.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of unifying procedures, ensuring the accuracy of bibliographic data, and advancing the quality of entering and organizing information sources.
It also underscored enhancing the coordination between the related units and building the technical capabilities of working staff which contributes to promoting the level of services offered to researchers and university students and ensuring the availability of scientific production in an organized and sustainable manner ,supporting automation and the digital transformation
projects and activating the role of the Central Library as a cornerstone in strengthening scientific research and university education.
