In accordance with the vision of Rector Kossay Al-Ahmady to adopt creative and innovative management of the University of Mosul under the exceptional circumstances of Corona pandemic, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar chaired an online meeting with the library officials to discuss the details of digitizing the Library’s indexes depending on the Dewey Decimal System, in addition to the plans of digitizing the standard classification of periodicals, underscoring the need to strengthen the informational exchange with local, regional and international academic libraries and information centers for the good of all the collaborating parties. Portions of the discussion were also dedicated to the topics of environmental awareness, culture and conservation, reinforcing ecological education by launching the Green Culture platform that provides related dissertations, researches and resources for those interested in the field of ecosystems, to contribute to raising public awareness of the environment.
