Within the implementations of the recommendations of the University of Mosul Rector, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to encourage interaction among academic and cultural institutions and figures inside and outside Iraq, and with a follow-up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University libraries, a donated book (The Jews of Zakho), written by Sa’id Alhaj Seddiq Zakhoy (Sa’id Razvan) and revised and introduced by Dr. Ghassan Walid Aljawady, has been recently arrived at the Central Library. The book is about the Jewish history in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, from the Jews’ arrival until their final emigration in 1951. It is an important historical documentation and reference for researchers in the fields of history and religions. After completing the classification and cataloging of the book, it will be available to all the users of the Central Library soon
