Central Library

In order to activate the approach of the University of Mosul to promote openness and communication with the community, and with a follow-up from the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, the library received a collection of various books donated by one of Mosul’s citizens, as a contribution to the efforts to support the Central Library that was destroyed by the terrorist ISIS. The donated books were delivered by Mr. Thamer Saeed Murad, head of the Voluntary Team of (The Helping Hand To Mosul), as part of the Team’s work in serving the university and society. The Central Library appreciates the donor and the Team for their sincere efforts in serving their University and City. Undoubtedly, voluntary works in various fields are essential for the advancement of any society in the world, and indicate the community’s national sentiment, kindness and civilization.
