Central Library

In order to strengthen communication between the University of Mosul and the cultural, scientific and academic figures in the city of Mosul, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, received the Iraqi notable archeologist Dr. Ahmad Kasem Aljumaa. During the visit, Dr. Ahmad expressed his overwhelming happiness for the Central Library’s warm reception. Mr. Sayf expressed his appreciation for the visit paid by a famous figure of the University and the city of Mosul to indicate the visitor’s interest in the Library and the reconstruction of its former building that was destroyed and burned by ISIS, stressing the importance of building bridges of communication with local, regional and international figures, institutions and organizations to support the progress of science and culture in our dear country.
