In accordance with the directives of Mr. President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to seek to develop the skills of the university employees, and as part of the consistent efforts to develop our library staff’s competency in the field of indexing and classification, a group of the Central Library staff participated in a training course. The course was on indexing, objective indexing and its rules and ways of applying it in university libraries. The course was held in the Department of Information Systems and Libraries, College of Arts, University of Mosul. The duration of the course was from 24 to 26/9/2019. It contributes to give the library staff an additional skill to upgrade services provided to students and researchers at our dear university
