The Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, accompanied by Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim, the Central Library’s Coordinator of Scholarships, Cultural Relations and Scientific Affairs, received Asst. Prof. Majed Hamook, former Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, who visited the Central Library on the occasion of its reconstruction and the restoration of its cultural and scientific role at the University of Mosul. During the visit, views were exchanged on the best ways to make the Library keep pace with advanced academic libraries through constant coordination between its administration and the University Presidency, and through local, regional and global support. After reviewing the workflow mechanism in the Library and the great efforts made by its administration and staff in order to provide optimum services to library users, Prof. Majed Hamook expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and his sincere wishes for a bright future for the Central Library befitting its bright history and prominent position as one of the most important scientific and cultural academic edifices in Iraq.
