Central Library

In order to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between Mosul University, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, and international and local authorities to support the Central Library in the cultural and scientific fields, the University Assistant Rector, Prof. Dr. Wahid Al-Ebrahimi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Archaeology, the Italian Archeologist Nicola Marceti and a number of administrative officials in the University Presidency, received the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Maurizio Greganti, who visited the recently constructed Central Library, accompanied by the UNESCO and UNDP delegations. The Secretary General of the University Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar briefed the visitors of the Central Library and its services and the suggested plans set by the University Rector to promote it. The Italian Ambassador expressed his admiration for this achievement, stressing that there will be plans to support the Central Library for its importance in spreading the diverse culture and sciences in the community.
