Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, and with a follow-up from the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, and within the activities of the UNESCO Chairs Program in Education for Peacebuilding in cooperation with the University of Mosul and the University of New York, the Central Library hosted a workshop on peacebuilding delivered by Dr. Qabas Hasan Albadrani, UNESCO Chair in Education for Peacebuilding at the University of Mosul, and a number of academics and members of the University of Mosul.
