Central Library

As directed by the Alahmady-presided University of Mosul to promote collaboration with media figures, the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar received the Canadian Journalist Fabrice de Pierrebourg during his visit to the Central Library, accompanied by the Director of the French-Iraqi Cultural Institute in Mosul Dr. Mohamed Zuhair and the Official of Francophone Unit Mr. Baraa Ibrahim. Mr. Sayf briefed the visitor on the Central Library and its offered services. During his visit, Mr. Fabrice presented one of his books to the Central Library, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made to sustainably provide services to users, some of whom he met during his tour of the Central Library. He also met Mr. Ali Albarudi while he was in the central library and praised his endeavor to convey beautiful images of Mosul and its people, pointing out the importance of conveying the positive reality at the University of Mosul and its Central Library through every media outlet.
