The Department of Historical and Cultural Studies at Regional Studies Center held a workshop entitled (Turkish Military Operation in Northern Syria and it’s Regional and InternationalRepercussions(. The workshop viewed a series of papers focusing on Turkish military operations. The head of the historical and cultural studies department, Dr. Hamid Al-Suwaidany, talked about (the Turkish military operations in northern Syria – objectives and implications(. While, Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Rahman Al-Obeidy touched on (the Turkish Spring Peace operation; regional and international attitudes towards it). Whilst Dr. Kifah Abbas covered (Arab position on military operations(, Dr. Afrah Nathir pointed out to (The position of America and NATO to military operations ).However, Dr. Hashim Al-Shahwan reviewed (the demographics of the people under Turkish incursion; as well as (the Israeli position toward these operations) byDr. Amira Ismail. The workshop involved constructive scientific discussions that resulted in a set of recommendations and future expectations. The workshop concluded successfully with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to researchers.
