Workshop
The Department of Political and Strategic Studies at Regional Studies Center held a workshop entitled ” Saudi-Iranian Conflict and Competition: Implications and Consequences ” on October 30, 2019. The workshop involved Saudi-Iranian conflict and rivalry and its repercussions on the Arab countries in addition to the position of Turkey and the United States of America on this conflict. The researchers also presented a future vision of the conflict and its outcome, which was exacerbated by the burning of the Saudi embassy in Iran in 2016. As a result, relations were severed and the situation remains tense between the two sides. The workshop witnessed constructive scientific discussions that included a set of recommendations and future expectations. The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to researchers.
