Regional Studies Center organized a seminar to discuss the research by Dr. Saad Abdulaziz Al-Muslit – College of Education for Humanities – Department of History entitled (The Historical Academic View Towards Issues of the Iraqi-Turkish Dispute – Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Al-Allaf – as a case study), in the presence of Assist. Prof. Dr. Luqman Omar Mahmood Al-Nuaimy, Head of the Center and the researchers of the Center on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.During which Dr. Saad Muslit presented an analytical view of the contemporary historical academic school represented by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Allaf on Iraqi-Turkish relations and how to deal with disputed issues between them, especially the issue of Mosul and the Kurdish issue and the problem of water, which are still the concentration of debate between the two parties . The study focused on the historical academic attitude and ways to address them objectively and scientifically away from the pragmatic political interactions that emanate from the visions of partisan ideologies.
