Dr. “Amira Ismail Al-Ubaidi”, a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Economic and Social Studies at Regional Studies Center – University of Mosul, has taken part in the International Scientific Forum organized by the International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) in cooperation with Tikrit University – College of Education for Humanities entitled (E-learning in the era of Coronavirus pandemic – Challenges and Opportunities), on May 12, 2020, it focused on the electronic training of the lecturer and the student and the obstacles in light of bad internet service. Al-Obaidi also participated in a scientific workshop by the University of Tikrit in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education called (the basic concepts of scientific publication in Scopes and Clarivate) on May 9, 2020. The workshop aimed to identify some terms of the field of scientific publishing to facilitate the interaction with scientific journals and databases in Scopes and Clarivate. In addition to participating in an electronic lecture titled (e-learning at the University of Nineveh, challenges, and treatment), which was organized by the University of Nineveh on May 8, 2020, it revolved around the fact that the Coronavirus pandemic was sudden and rapid, so it was supposed to develop quick solutions to overcome crises in a way of teamwork. Finally, participation in the symposium that was held by the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul under the title (the procedures of the executive authority to confront the Coronavirus pandemic .. achievements, obstacles, solutions), on April 25, 2020. The symposium dealt with health and educational aspects and the issue of social security as well as security measures taken in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, in addition to the effect of the relationship between the federal and local authorities on the course of action taken.
