Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, Regional Studies Center held a workshop entitled “Citizenship Behaviors” on October 16, 2022.The workshop aimed at consolidating the values of influential citizenship in Iraq. The workshop involved two research papers, the first one on the concept and dimensions of citizenship by Assist. Lecturer Zainab Abdel-Ilah. The second research paper by Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Kh. Mohammad on the behavior of active citizenship in Iraq between reality and ambition; in which they tackled the constitutional and legal dimensions of the concept of citizenship through the Iraqi constitution, especially the second chapter of it related to rights and freedoms. The behavioral and value dimension of the concept of citizenship was also discussed; As well as promoting the values of brotherhood among citizens, and working to reject other affiliations in favor of the concept of citizenship.
