Director of Regional Studies Center Receives a Copy of a Book by Dr. Imad Al-Din Khalil
The Director of the Regional Studies Center receives a copy of a book in French by the Islamic thinker Prof. Dr. Imad al-Din Khalil, entitled “Introduction to Islamic History,” translated by the Algerian writer and translator Shahnaz Saidi who translated and published the book which was recently published by Bayane-editions in France. 2023.
The book involved several axes such as the state, authority, leadership, call to Islam, spread, dealing with others, challenges and counterattacks, international relations, and social life, such as classes, non-Arab elements, non-Islamic elements, and others.
The book aims to show that history is not limited, as some think, to wars or treaties, or even successive ruling dynasties, but rather it is, above all, a civilizational experience, a project of human cooperation, and an opportunity to verify the capabilities of philosophies and religions to achieve, in the place and time and strengthening the ties between them.
Our history itself is distinctive in that it more accurately reflects the influences of Islam and the ability of this religion to define again the way of thinking and awareness, to narrate phenomena, facts, and materials, and place them completely within the hoped-for one to get harmony, because one of the basic purposes of this religion which aims to make religion, man and the world in harmony, in one movement, with everything that concerns them, towards God alone.
