Regional Studies Center Holds a Seminar on Positive Stability Links of Arab Countries
Regional Studies Center held a seminar for the research titled “The Positive Stability Links of Arab Countries: An Inductive Study,” presented by Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jalloud, on March 3, 2024.
The seminar aimed to present a new idea based on separating stability into two parts (positive and negative). After identifying the elements of positive stability in general, each country has links to this stability. Therefore, identifying the links of positive stability for Arab countries is extremely important to preserve and strengthen them with other links and avoid the causes of their disintegration.
The seminar covered the political reality of the Arab countries, the most important links to stability in general, and the links of stability to the Arab countries, as well as the dismantling of these links. Among the most important findings of the research is that the Arab countries in general depend on positive stability links below the required level, in addition to their fragility in facing the difficulties that arise. Hence, Arab political decision-makers should pay attention to this matter to avoid chaos and to enhance the gains and development that bring Arab citizens a decent life.
