Regional Studies Center Holds a Workshop Entitled Extremism: Dismantling the Structure and Solutions
Regional Studies Center held a workshop entitled “Extremism: Dismantling the Structure and Solutions,” in the presence of the Center’s staff on April 3, 2024.
The workshop aimed to review mechanisms for combating extremist ideas and tendencies, and how to fortify the individual and society in a way that helps build a healthy society far from deviant ideas.
The workshop addressed the reasons that led to the emergence and spread of the phenomenon of extremism, especially the youth group. It also touched on ways and means to besiege this phenomenon, eliminate its nutrients, and limit the extent of its impact on the structure of society at all levels, emphasizing the role of the individual, society, and educational and religious institutions in raising awareness of the individual and society regarding these ideas.
