Regional Studies Center Holds a Seminar on Contemporary Developments in the Society of the State of Qatar
Regional Studies Center held a seminar for the research entitled “Contemporary Developments in the Society of the State of Qatar: A Historical Study,” presented by Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jalloud, on April 21, 2024.
The seminar aimed to introduce the reality of Qatari society and the impact of geography on the population, as well as documenting the elements of Qatari society.
The seminar covered the study and discussion of five topics: the first topic dealt with geography and population; the second one reviewed the classes of Qatari society. The third topic presented the reality of education and health, while the fourth discussed the cultural aspect of Qatari society, and the fifth and final one concluded with the topic of the economy and the labor market.
The researcher stated that it became clear through the research that Qatari society is simple and cohesive, in which Qataris live in a state of economic luxury.
