Regional Studies Center ‎ at the University of Mosul held a seminar for the research entitled “Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on Auditing: An Exploratory Study on a Sample of Auditors at the University of Mosul,” presented by Assist. Lecturer Ahmad Ghazi Taher on July 8, 2024.
The seminar aimed to identify the impact of using artificial intelligence in reducing the work time required to complete the internal audit process, and to identify the impact of using artificial intelligence in collecting evidentiary evidence. ‏
The seminar included three axes. The first axis was on the methodology of the study. The second one involved the theoretical framework that touched on the concept of artificial intelligence, the concept of auditing, the uses of artificial intelligence in the field of auditing, and the benefits and risks of using artificial intelligence in auditing, while the third axis reviewed the research’s field study.
