Scientific Lecture on Supporting the Working Class to Develop the Private Sector
Under the directives of the government program to support and develop the private sector, Regional Studies Center organized a scientific lecture entitled “The importance of supporting and caring for the working class and improving their performance and skills in developing the private sector”, delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Adeeb al-Chalabi, on December 18, 2024. The lecture aimed to highlight the role of developing the competencies and professional skills of the working class in enhancing the productivity of the private sector and achieving sustainable development.
The lecture addressed several topics, most notably the significance of providing professional training and qualification programs that keep pace with the market’s needs and motivating institutions to invest in improving the performance of employees by enhancing and caring for the work environment. It also discussed mechanisms to strengthen the relationship between employers and employees through flexible and fair labor policies that contribute to achieving professional stability. In addition, It emphasizes the significance of cooperation between the public and private sectors in implementing joint initiatives that support employees and contribute to achieving economic and social growth.
