Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul held a seminar entitled “Repercussions of the US strikes on Yemen and the Middle East region”, presented by Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jaloud, Director of the Center, on March 17, 2025.
The seminar also discussed the challenges faced by Arab countries in the face of foreign interventions and the effect of these strikes on the stability of the region in general.
The seminar included a presentation on the recent US strikes on Yemen, which resulted in many losses of lives and infrastructure. In conclusion, the seminar emphasized the need to activate regional and international diplomacy to resolve conflicts by peaceful means and strengthen cooperation between Arab countries to face the security and economic challenges resulting from these interventions.
