Regional Studies Center Holds a Seminar on Education Quality
Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul organized a seminar titled “Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education as a Case Study,” by Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jaloud, Director of the Center, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of education as a key tool for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring inclusive and quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. During the seminar, participants discussed the challenges and opportunities related to improving the quality of education, focusing on improving educational infrastructure and providing a learning environment that supports innovation and equality.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the need for concerted efforts between governmental, academic, and community institutions to achieve sustainable development was emphasized, highlighting the important role of education in building a society capable of facing future challenges.
