Regional Studies Center

In their efforts to enhance the academic research environment and provide up-to-date knowledge resources, on Monday, June 2, 2025 the staff of the Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul has begun organizing and categorizing a collection of newly acquired books from the Erbil International Book Fair. The books have been arranged according to their diverse academic disciplines and subjects.

This vital step was made possible through the direct support of Prof. Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, who played a key role in securing the necessary funding to purchase these recent publications. His contribution stems from a strong belief in the importance of equipping the Center’s library with the latest academic and intellectual developments.

The initiative aims to facilitate access for researchers, faculty members, and students to reliable academic sources, supporting their research efforts both within and beyond the Center. This effort is part of an ambitious plan to develop the library’s services and improve the infrastructure supporting scientific production.
