Regional Studies Center Staff Member Participates in Digital Skills Training Program at University of Mosul

Senior Manager Walid Salah Yaseen, a staff member at the Regional Studies Center, participated in the training program launched by the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up in collaboration with the Electronic Computing Center at the Presidency of the University of Mosul. The program, titled “Basic Digital Computer Skills,” was held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hall at the Scientific and Literary Forum of the university.

The course targets university employees and extends over a full month, with three hours of daily training sessions. The program aims to empower participants with the ability to efficiently use office and cloud-based applications, enhance the technical readiness of the university’s staff, and promote the effective use of modern digital tools in carrying out administrative and technical tasks.

The program includes hands-on training on the use of Microsoft Office applications, cloud storage systems, digital collaboration tools, and fundamental concepts of cybersecurity.

This initiative represents a significant step in the University of Mosul’s ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of its administrative and technical personnel in line with the requirements of digital transformation in educational institutions. It also contributes to improving institutional performance and service quality, while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4 – Quality Education, Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities, Goal 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
