A Lecture on the Code of Professional Conduct to Enhance Work Environment

As part of promoting concepts of professional discipline and reinforcing a culture of ethical behavior among members of the Regional Studies Center, Ms. Nariman A. Safar delivered an awareness lecture titled “Code of Professional Conduct” on August 6, 2025.

The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of adhering to ethical and professional standards in the workplace, clarify the key provisions of the code of professional conduct, and explain how to implement them in daily practices to ensure a work environment based on integrity and mutual respect.

The lecture covered several topics, including principles of professional behavior, the impact of compliance with the code on institutional performance quality, and real-life examples highlighting common violations and ways to address them. It also emphasized the importance of fostering individual and collective responsibility in maintaining the institution’s image and credibility in the eyes of the community.

This lecture falls within the framework of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 16, which focuses on “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions,” as promoting transparency and ethical conduct in the workplace is one of the pillars of building effective and accountable institutions.
