Regional Studies Center Celebrates Iraqi National Day
The Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul held a celebration on Sunday, October 5, 2025, to mark the occasion of Iraqi National Day, attended by the center’s faculty and staff in an atmosphere filled with pride and a deep sense of belonging to the homeland.
The program featured an intellectual lecture highlighting the symbolism of the National Day and its significance in commemorating the struggles and sacrifices of the Iraqi people. The lecture also emphasized that love for one’s country goes beyond slogans, finding true expression in sincere work and commitment to the values and principles that strengthen Iraq’s standing among nations.
The celebration concluded with an affirmation that commemorating National Day represents a moment to renew the pledge of working toward a united, safe, and stable Iraq. It was also stressed that the University of Mosul, through the Regional Studies Center, will remain a platform for authentic national thought, contributing to the building of an aware and cohesive society that preserves its values and looks with confidence toward a better future.
