Regional Studies Center

The Regional Studies Center – University of Mosul, continues its community engagement through its voluntary and developmental initiatives. The Center’s staff participated in the “My School” volunteer initiative, which targeted “Amalona” primary school in the western side of Mosul, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

This initiative comes as part of efforts to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and social responsibility, and to support the educational environment in the city’s schools through awareness and educational activities aimed at instilling the values of teamwork and positive belonging among students.

The Regional Studies Center extends its appreciation to the school’s administration and staff for their warm reception and interaction, reaffirming the Center’s commitment to continuing its volunteer programs that support the local community, in line with the University of Mosul’s mission to serve society and promote sustainable development, particularly relevant to the achievement of sustainable development goals such as: quality education (Goal 4), sustainable cities and communities (Goal 11), peace, justice and strong institutions (Goal 16), and partnerships for the goals (Goal 17).
