Regional Studies Center

Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul took part in the central celebration organized by the university on the occasion of Great Victory Day, commemorating the liberation of Mosul and other Iraqi cities from the terrorist ISIS organization.

The center’s participation reflects its commitment to documenting national events and promoting a culture of victory and resilience within societal consciousness. During the event, the center’s delegation extended congratulations to the university community, emphasizing the significance of this day in the national memory as a symbol of unity, sacrifice, and the courage demonstrated by members of the Iraqi Armed Forces across all branches.

Regional Studies Center stressed that commemorating Victory Day serves as an occasion to reinforce values of stability and peace in society and to honor the heroic role of the Iraqi forces that achieved this historic accomplishment, particularly the Counter-Terrorism Service, Popular Mobilization Forces, the army, and the police, who made sacrifices to liberate the land and safeguard the dignity of the Iraqi people.

The center concluded its participation by reaffirming its ongoing scientific and research efforts to support civil peace, development, and the cultivation of national awareness among university students and the wider community.
