Regional Studies Center Participates in Blood Donation Campaign

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and its scientific and humanitarian role, Regional Studies Center took part in a blood donation campaign held at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Mosul, reaffirming the importance of promoting the values of social solidarity and community cooperation, on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
This participation aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:
Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being): by supporting the healthcare system and contributing to saving lives through the provision of blood for patients and those in need.
Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions): by fostering a culture of social responsibility and volunteerism as fundamental pillars for building cohesive and stable societies.
Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): through strengthening cooperation between academic and community institutions in humanitarian initiatives.
The Center emphasized that this initiative reflects its vision of linking academic work with community needs, and of transforming the Sustainable Development Goals from a theoretical framework into practical actions that serve society and enhance human stability in the city of Mosul.
