Regional Studies Center Participates in Workshop on Developing the University of Mosul Website

As part of the Presidency of the University of Mosul’s efforts to update and develop the university’s official website, and with the aim of enhancing technical efficiency and strengthening the skills of authorized website administrators across all formations, in line with the requirements of the updated version, its operating mechanisms, and adherence to technical recommendations for digital content management, Assist. Lecturer Nasir M. Abid, Media and Government Communication Officer and administrator of the official website of the Regional Studies Center, participated in a training workshop organized by the Electronic Computing Center / Website Division entitled “Digital Content Management According to the New Update of the University of Mosul Website”. The workshop was held on Tuesday, 13 January 2026.

The workshop included a practical explanation of mechanisms for managing and updating digital content, methods for unifying visual identity across websites, improving the quality of published news and activities, as well as electronic archiving procedures and ensuring ease of access to information, in a manner that enhances institutional communication and digital transparency.

The participation of the Regional Studies Center in this workshop reflects its commitment to keeping pace with technological developments and supporting the University of Mosul’s institutional orientation toward digital transformation. This contribution aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal (4) Quality Education, Goal (9) Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Goal (16) Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal (17) Partnerships for the Goals, thereby positively impacting the quality of institutional performance and the digital services provided.
