As part of its annual scientific plan and within the series of weekly seminars held by Regional Studies Center, the Center has organized a seminar on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, by Mr. “Waleed Mahmood Ahmad”, a lecturer at the Department of Political and Strategic Studies to discuss his research entitled (the emergence of European right-wing parties after the World War II). The researcher presented an analytical intellectual description in a historical framework on the nature of the socio-political transformations that have ruled Europe since the era of European nationalities that created the European right and then its extremism, in addition to what steps Europe can take to contain this extremism, as European history is characterized by its fluctuations, changes, and contradictions. Moreover, it is an extension of the entire history of humanity. This characterization influences a series of historical events that may not be similar in their stages but may share some things and lessons related to the liveliness of human societies of all kinds.
