Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muneer Salem Taha Al-Badrani ,” Assistant President for Scientific Affairs “; Prof. Dr. Zakaria Yahya Al-Jammal, Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs at Mosul University, gave the lecture titled “Classification of thoughtful international journals in terms of categories (Q1-Q4)”, on Monday, June 1, 2020, ” Al-Jammal ” highlights in detail how to identify the categories of journals accredited in ” Clarivate and Scopes” database. Assist. Prof. Dr. Luqman Omar Mahmood Al-Nuaimi, Editor-in-Chief of Regional Studies Journal and Director of Regional Studies Center, was among those who attended and benefited a lot from that valuable lecture, which was concluded with discussions and questions by editors-in-chief and journals officials from inside and outside Iraq, which Prof. Dr. Zakaria Al-Jammal and Prof. Dr. Muneer Salem Taha have answered to develop scientific journals to serve the efforts of the University of Mosul to include them all in the global classifications (Clarivate and Scopes) soon.
