Within the external activities of the academics of ” Regional Studies Center”, Assist. Prof. Dr. “Luqman Omar Mahmoud Al-Nuaimy” Head of the Center participated with his research titled (Partnership between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in the Field of Energy after 2011), And Assist. Prof .Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Rahman Al-Obeidy with his research (the Effects and Heritage of Iraq and the Efforts to Protect and Preserve them after 2011). Assist. Prof .Dr. Hamid Mohammad Al-Suwaidany with his research (the Cultural Conditions in Mosul after 2011), And Assist. Prof. Dr. Mithaq Khairallah Jallud with his research (Saudi Foreign Policy towards Iraq 2015-2019: a Stage of Openness and Regional Competition), and finally Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Khalaf Al-Taee with his research (Iraq in the Final Statements of the GCC Summits 2013-2018: an Analytical Study), in the International Conference held by the Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) in Ankara entitled (Iraq after 2011), which was organized in cooperation with Ankara University (Haji Bayram) on 18-20 November 2019.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Head of Regional Studies Center presented a Memorial Shield to the Iraqi Ambassador, Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Janaby, as well as a Memorial Shield to the Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (Orsam), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ouesal.
