Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, the respected, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, the Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Hassan Youssef, the respected, the Faculty of Tourism Sciences held a scientific workshop on Monday 15/2/2021 “Drugs and their effects on tourism” The workshop was prepared by Dr. Firas Aziz Muhammad, and the workshop came out with a set of ideas, the most important of which are the danger of drugs to society as a whole, the need to protect tourism activity from its exploitation in recreation and abuse, and the necessity for tourism security to tighten control over tourist cafes in order to prevent their use for promotion.
