Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, the esteemed Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Sciences, the respected Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Hassan Youssef, the Faculty of Tourism Sciences held a workshop on Tuesday, 9 / 3 /2021, and among its series of scientific activities directed at the community, a workshop on legal protection for society From the dangers of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, the working paper was prepared by Dr. Firas Gerges Khalaf, and the workshop culminated in extensive discussions and interventions by the participants and attendees, agreeing that drugs have a negative impact on society as a whole and concerted efforts must be made to confront it by all state institutions, and on the other hand the legislation was clarified And the Iraqi legal articles that would protect society from the scourge of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
