Training Course Organized by the College of Tourism Sciences in Coordination with the Continuing Education Unit
Under the patronage of the esteemed Mr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, the President of Mosul University, and the supervision of the respected Assistant Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Mr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, the Department of Tourism Studies, in coordination with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course titled “Impact of Development Factors on the Legal Organization of Tourism in Nineveh Province” from February 18 to 22, 2024.
The course covered several topics. On the first day, Assistant Professor Mohammed Naif Mahmoud presented on “Obstacles Facing Tourism Development in Nineveh Province,” discussing the reasons hindering the development and activation of the tourism sector in Nineveh Province.
Dr. Asna Hashim Hamdoun, the Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, addressed “English Speaking Skills in Attracting Tourists,” emphasizing the importance of participants’ knowledge of English communication skills and interacting with foreign tourists in Nineveh Province.
A large number of faculty members and students attended the course, enriching it with their valuable questions and contributions.
