College of Tourism Sciences

Under the direct guidance of Mr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, the Assistant Dean of the College, and supervised by the Student Activities Department represented by Dr. Ahmed Hussein, the College organized a chess tournament for all stages on Monday, February 26, 2024. The tournament was conducted in a friendly sporting atmosphere and concluded with the victory of student Ibrahim Essam from the Tourism Department in the first place. Student Abdulmajeed Dureid from the Tourism Department secured the second position, while student Youssef Medhat from the Hotel Management Department achieved third place.

Mr. Dean honored the winning students in the presence of Dr. Zeina Zuhair, the Deputy Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs. It is worth mentioning that this activity is part of a series of tournaments and activities organized by the College regularly to enhance students’ skills and promote interaction among them.
